M. I am tired of hearing you moan about the weather. How many times do I have
to tell you Labradors are hunting and fishing dogs bred to jump into icy waters.

M. It's not rubbish it's the truth but of course you never want to hear the truth!
You sit curled up as near to the radiator as you can day dreaming.
H. I had a lovely dream this morning, we were on the beach the sun was shining and we were running about like wild things. In and out of the sea splashing each other
M. You running in and out of the sea? You who can't let the water go further than your ankles
H. I'm not keen on water that's true but I go in the shower don't I ? Anyway I know what I need did you see that poodle the one that's come to live round the corner? Well the other day when I was out having a sniff around
M. You mean when you had run away again causing Granny to cry
H. I didn't run away I just noticed the gate was open and I went for a walk by myself. Anyway she knows I always come back. So I was telling you about the poodle
she had on a coat a proper coat. I want one!
M. A Labrador in a coat I think I'm going to sleep hopefully until Spring

| The season for Granny starts on Sunday 4th April (Easter Sunday) It doesn't seem two minutes since I was walking down the beautiful drive looking around at the trees and thinking how lucky I was to be coming back next year.I must get some new stories ready I do hope my beautiful carved tree is keeping well and that all the animals will be out in force to welome me back. | Hello children Mums Dads Grannies and Granddads!! Do you know I was looking back the other day and trying to work out how many years I had been telling stories in Graves Park? I can't remember if it was 4 or 5 years but what I do know is I enjoyed every minute of it. What a time we had puppets,making cards for your families,storytelling,pass the parcel storytelling .But what I remember most of all is having the chance to meet you all. Maybe at sometime in the future I shall pack my bag on a Sunday morning and walk through the park to see you all. Until then take care of yourselves. Granny xx |

I have never had such a lovely time in the run up to Christmas as I did this year. Meeting friends old and new making exciting plans for 2010. The decorating of the tree for Woodseats Festival was a pleasure ( though as I have mentioned before I am not very artistic)
