H. Quick Qick there's a strange looking horse in the house!!!
M. If I get out of my nice warm basket and I can't see a horse I'm going to bite you
untill you squeal.

H. You know Molly I will always love you but I don't always like you. Anyway Granny has got a horse in her office with her I heard her talking to it
M. Ssshhh Listen she's just said it will be the children's favourite. Let's run round and look through the window I want to have a good look at this childrfen's favourite
H. I can't see a horse can you? Wait don't you dare bite me. Look she's holding up a picture that doesn't look like any horse I've ever seen
M. That's a pantomime horse you silly silly dog. You know she's organising some new events for |Woodseats Festival and a Pantomime Horse must be one of them
H. So it's not a proper horse then?
M. No it's a costume two people become the horse the one at the front has their legs in the costume and the head on their head they can see through the eyes and the back end leans across and holds the front parts back it has it's legs in the costume to make the back of the horse and then a cloth is thrown across them and WOW we have a pantomime horse.
H. I wonder if there is such a thing as a Pantomime Dog we could do it I'd be front and you could be back>
M We are dogs Hector we don't have to get dressed up now I'm going to go back to my basket and have a good snooze. Just one bark from you and you know what will happen.ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I didn't go to my lovely tree in June as the weather was so bad the outdoor activities were called off.
However I will be going on Sunday July 4th even if I have to sit under my umbrella and tell stories.

It doesn't seem two minutes since The Mappin Writers were deciding which of their many pieces of writing they wanted to use for The Off The Shelf event in 2009. Well they are doing it again and hoping that a lot of people are going to attend their event at Mappin Street Sheffield . The date has yet to be decoded but I'll let you know .
