M. I love this time of the year, raining outside
but nice and cosy in front of the fire
H. Well don't get too comfortable she's turning
the central heating off
M. She wouldn't do that. Would she?
H. She say's it's all about our carbon footprint.
M. It must be you, you're always bringing things in from the garden.
H. Don't you know anything! We have to use less oil and electricity and things like that.
M. Well it woun't make much difference to her she's never in.Have you seen how many school fairs she's going too.
H. Never mind it will soon be Christmas and that means Turkey Legs for you and me
M. If she does turn the fire off can I come and snuggle up to you?
H. Okay it will be like when we were puppies together

SRSB are On The Shelf
Event time - 10:00 on 11/17/2008
On October 18th Granny Diana joined The Creative Writing Group of SRSB as their Group Leader. The group had been "On The Shelf" before so they were old hands at the entertaining side of things. With only two weeks to go it was pretty hectic but the result more than justified the effort. Oh dear some problems with the recording but all will be resolved after Christmas.

A good time was had by all at The Quakers Meeting House Satrurday 25th October. That's when The SRSB Creative Group with me as their new group leader entertained and delighted their audience. With such a wealth of experience to count on their stories and poems reflect life as they have lived it. We are already planning next years event and hope to make it even better.
